  • Mushy peas - but not as you'd reckognise them

Was "cooking" dinner last night - fish, chips and mushy peas.

Fish was lovely - Haddock fillets by Youngs, chips were beautiful (if not altogether healthy) - they were those new oven cook ones coated in beef dripping, and the mushy peas, well, see for yourself....

Shh, I did, but thought I'd take a piccie as it amused me. Usually they just "dollop" into the pan, but these just sat there like that until I "mushed" them. I asked LadyWayne if she wanted the top or the bottom.

Now you see, if we still took pictures the old fashioned way, the lady at Boots would be thinking 'why has he taken a picture of a mushy pea mountain?'

Mind you, I'M thinking why has he taken a picture of a mushy pea mountain.

Went into asda for a coffe this morning and as I got to the counter a lady was putting something that looked like that into a pan to keep hot. It was scrabbled egg and looked awful, it looked like she had cooked it in a plastic container in the microwave and just tipped it in to a warmer. Glad I was only having coffe.

To be honest, I did think the photo looked a bit pale - it looked a lot more green in real life.

You could have edited the photo if you have a programme that lets you do it!
