  • Mulberries

Has anyone tasted mulberries? I had my first one on Wednesday, they are delicious. I took a plastic container into work today and spent half of my lunch hour picking them. You actually have to hide in the tree as the berries hide behind the leaves. I'll pick more on Monday.

My hands and arms looked as if I'd been part of the chainsaw massacre .

I'm going to see if I can grow some bushes from seed.

The easiest way to clean the mulberry stains is to rub the stains with the green unripe mulberries!
Mulberry pie hmmmm what a fantastic childhood memory! Spent many a day climbing around the tree eating the berries! Thanks for giving me a trip down memory lane!

EDIT : sorry another memory was collecting the leaves for the silk worms!

Me again! sorry you can also get a "weeping" mulberry that grows like a willow tree but is a far smaller tree!
