Just been reading about Digger finally getting a plot up North and well done Digger. But he is not the only one moving up North Hubby and I are just back from Fort William and we will be moving to Inverlochy in about 3 weeks time Can't stop smiling (well grinning) I know I said "oh we need to move back to Glasgow" because that would be the sensible thing to do - nearer the neurosurgical unit for hubby BUT we hate living in Glasgow - the noise, the volume of people and traffic etc etc. We have a one bed ground floor flat, looks down to the Mamores, really, really quiet. Start of the Great Glen Way is approx 500 yards away. It has a small garden (I'll squash everything in). When we get the dining table up we will be able to eat and look out at the hills in all of their glory. Did I say I'm grinning! One and only drawback - there are flaming wabbits everywhere!

I'm grinning exactly like that. Did I mention the solar panels that supply the energy for the heating and if we install a thermostatic shower there is enough spare power to run that as well See, grinning again

I know we were after a house in Oldhall but it never came about. Karma decided to be nice and now we have our wee place near the hills

Well I've started packing and passing good karma on. A friend who has brought us so much luck (and laughs) was needing a motorised treadmill, so I've just humphed ours out to his car. It is a gorgeous part of the country, only down side is the midges Started organising what plants I can take and what I need to leave. I've had to have a serious cull of tomato plants - 38 is a tad excessive. My potato onions are coming with us in pots (so that I can honour the IOU's) Thanks for all of the good luck. Final thing - I'm definately still grinning.
