At the bottom of the home page there is a list of 'active users'. How is this determined? I never log out of forums that I regularly use, so am I an 'active user' on these forums? If that's the case, we could have a lot of 'active users' who don't come onto the site any more just because they never logged out after their first post!
I hope that makes sense..
