Ow... look on the bright side, if you have no idea how you did it you can think up the most amazing lies to tell people how you did it, while recovering and not being allowed to do any gardening!
maybe your mates can come and help as you are incapacitated? You can sit and 'supervise' with a few tinnies while they do the hard graft for you

I'm minded to get out the teasing stick now you're defenceless but I'll be gentle instead

If I lived a bit nearer, I'd be round with a spade and a watering can. Hope it heals quickly.

Ouch!!!
I've just looked at your blog- you are miles ahead of me at the moment with the ground preparation ( too wet here)
You'll be fine with a little help from your friends ( and a quick nip down to the pub afterwards! - what a pity..they'll have to drive too!!!)
I imagine you are in plaster now then....what colour did you choose???
Bet it's red!!!!????

I bet it hurts more now you know it's broken!

But how can you break your foot without even realising? Were you drunk-ed ?

Just sow seeds in pots/modules - and dream of the day (can't be FAR away?) when they can all go in. Hope it doesn't hurt too much. I can stand anything but pain!

Called a March fracture - not after the month, even though it did happen in March, but supposedly common in soldiers. Not usually too bad as long as you watch what you're doing for few weeks, just a bit of a pain.

Just a thought...is it the foot you use with the spade?? I wonder if you've been doing loads of digging and that's what's caused it?????
