Default Member Of The Month March - Supersprout

Following Sarah's very sad death yesterday, we all feel that the title Member Of The Month should remain with Sarah in memory of her name throughout March.

Thanks for that LJ. I was thinking something along those lines myself. A good way of remembering her.

How about re-naming it the Supersprout Member of the month?

Thank you LJ, I couldn't bear the thought of Sarah being suddenly wiped off our map.
I haven't posted much this week because I've been feeling so emotional ever since the news on Wednesday that she was so ill. My thoughts are with Will and the rest of her family.

Have to agree that its a great idea, as is naming the MOM the 'Supersprout Member of the Month' that was suggested!

Have to second MB's comments, I have been very emotional since hearing that Sarah was ill, and shed more than a tear or two when I heard she had passed on.

Sleep well my friend, may we meet again in happier times..........

It's a difficult one.....I know you've all got Sarah's best interests at heart, and she more than earned her place as Member of the Month, but I personally think that 're-naming it The Supersprout of the Month' is not a monthly accolade to be followed in the footsteps of lightly.
I would rather see that GYO keep up their monthly choice as 'Member of the Month', and dedicate a more special accolade to her memory.
And I'm only thinking aloud here, if I may be so bold....

I didn't even know she wasn't well. It's such a shock. Funny really, I've never met her but it feels like I know her. I'm sure that most of you lot feel the same way. Maybe we could all plant something in our plot or garden to remember her by, I think she would like that. What do you think?

Sarah's son Will is touched and honoured that Supersprout is our Member Of The Month for March.

Lesley - have just logged onto the Vine since being away on holiday, and am extremely saddened to hear the news. Sarah was a true ambassador for growing your own veg and it was super to see her on TV. I will wear my "sarah gloves" with pride and remember her every time I do so. My thoughts and condolences go to Sarahs family at this very sad time. I would be grateful if you could pass my thoughts on. DDL

Funny, was thinking the other day that it would be nice to leave it with her this month so am more than pleased that others have had the same idea.
