  • Mehu-Liisa Steam Juicer

I love this juicer. The cost is abit high, but it produces perhaps the best juice I ever had. Mom used this to juice grapes. The concentrate was thick once cooled and canned in glass jars. The juice can be used for drinks, Jelly's an wine making. My Mom used this concentrate grape juice using water and sugar as a grape drink (very good)

Do you juice? Love to hear from you.

I use my juicer all the time, it's a VitalMax 900.

I would be very cautious about using steam, as this can destroy the vitamins in the fruit and veg.

I have a steam juicer and use it for all my jam and jelly making. My family don't like peel in their marmalade so I steam a bunch of citrus fruit and make jelly marmalade - lovely and clear.

WrexTheDragon, I know of a person that uses an electric juicer for juicing tomatoes, than can's the juice.
Do you use your VitalMax 900 for canning and winemaking. From my understanding electric juicers incorporates alot of oxygen to the juice and needs to be consumed within a few days or it will spoil.

It's a continuous cold press masticating juicer that I use for apples to make cider. Also used for general drinks.

Never keep the juice for more than a day, so it is not an issue with me. If I produce a lot I prefer to put it into the deep freeze until required.
