An Eternal Memory of A Special Mum

This little message is for you
a few words just to say
that you are missed for all the love
    you brought to every day
For you were kind and thoughtful
and you meant so very much
and nothing now seems quite the same
    without your gentle touch
This comes with so much love to you
    you're peacefully at rest
of all the mums in all the world
    you'll always be the best.

Anniversaries are always hard aren't they.
That was a very sweet poem, and I'm sure your Mum apppreciated it. She's still with you, you know.
      Chin up sweetie!

What a lovely poem for your Mum. I know how you feel I lost my Mum in January but the pain is still here. I'm dreading her birthday and how I'll feel. Mothers Day was bad - burst into tears in Tesco when I saw the cards.

My Mum loved Lilly of the Valley (her favourite flower) and my bed of Lily of the Valley is looking good - I wish she could see it.

I bet your Mum is there beside you watching over you

That's so lovely Jackie. Its so sad when you loose someone close. But take heart, they are always with you.

          Take care.
A good beginning is half the work.
Praise the young and they will make progress.

That's a lovely thought Jackie, I'm sure your mum would appreciate it.

My mum also liked lily of the valley I had forgotton that. She loved lots of other flowers as well so I try to grow things that she liked. My dad always grew London's Pride and lots of flowers so I have those as well.
It does get easier with time, Mum died in August 2005 It helped me that my Mum was 92 when she died and although she had a hard life she had a long life.

Thanks for all the support going to the cemetry in a mo to place some flowers.
