  • A lovely day

I have had a really lovely day, which only lottie holders will understand

Firstly started the day by meeting dexterdoglancashire, a really lovely lady is bernie, we got on like a house on fire, her allotment is immaculate lol....we had a really good natter. We gave each other goodies, I am so thrilled to have met her, all because of the vine.

Bernie is now in North Wales till Friday, no computer lol....she wonders how she will cope having to TALK to her hubby LOL.

Then this afternoon I spent a few hours in horse muck, it was lovely, spreading it on all beds......in greenhouse lol...well rotted i got 20 bags for 10.00 and getting another 20 later this week lol....

Came home OH had made tea!!! I nearly fainted, first time in 10 years, I wonder what he wants!!! SOWED some more seeds, now chillin on ere.

A really lovely day, what have u lot been up too?

Well, I've found out my bricks are coming tomorrow, and we have another builder ready for next week to finish our wall.

I've started hardening off my toms and peppers, and even popped the windowsill beans out in the sun for an hour today.

And I sowed a few more onions in modules.

My friend came round for a brew and a natter, then took Pads out for a right good stomp
I have attempted a rescue of my 'too long in the dark' seed spuds, although what to do with the maincrops is an ongoing problem
OH is making home-made burgers for tea.
      Not a bad day

After I managed to do a load of housework this morning I finally got to go outside and start on the greenhouse. Got to try and get down the green tip tomorrow as I've filled 3 big green bags of stuff and I can't find my 4th bag

Trying to tame the mad thing called a garden and getting there I think!

I had some timber delivered on Friday to make window boxes and planned to build them today. I was geared up with my cordless drill, etc but the heavens opened and it was really windy.

Picked up our youngest dog from the vets where she had been in to be spayed. She's sleeping on the windowsill now with her plastic cone.
