Good for you Danny - it is still a bit nippy and the ground is frozen here! Good enough for a bit of a tidy round but not any serious gardening stuff.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Its a lovely bright morning here but OMG what frost! The earth is like concrete and our paths etc death traps! Looks like windowsill gardening today.
A good beginning is half the work.
Praise the young and they will make progress.

        Hi Jeanied,

Nice dusting of snow this morning but lovely now and not that cold. Yes agree with your comment my gardening will specifically be tidying / emptying etc.
        Cheers

Bright sunny morning here too, but gardening will have to wait as I am off to the Potato Day in Chesterfield. Hope its nice tomorrow so I can have a clear round and get the rest of my garlic in the ground that I couldnt plant before due to the snow.

Ground is frozen solid here, so I've been out and got frozen myself tidying around. A little bonfire in the bbq is taking care of a few bit I can't compost though. Just came in to thaw out a bit and have a cuppa!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Ground is frozen, and we've had over an inch of snow, so I'll be leaving it alone today

Glorious sunny day here so far, but still very cold out only just above 0- in the green house, I've got a little bit of tidying up to do in the garden, I'll be fetching the pots indoors to give them a good clean, then I feel a trip to a garden center (or3) coming on for later in the day, I must resist the seed section...well, I might just take a peep.

Absolutely beautiful here today, but oh sooooo cold!

The ground is harder than concrete, even the Horse' hooves didn't break through the top layer when I went and put them out this morning.

Every day is a silly day round my house! Silly housework, silly cooking - and silly gardening. In fact my favourite phrase is - 'if I ever got serious, I'd be dangerous!'.

Beautiful day here too but bitterly cold with a dusting of snow/frost. Popped out to the greenhouse to check my sweetpeas didn't get frosted.
Can't garden today as have two grandchildren coming over, one of whom has a school project for hand made paper he should have already got finished!!
It's a good job I like a bit of messing around. Got the paper soaking and the blender out. It should be fun.
I am also supposed to be doing watercolour painting with the other one but I'm thinking of using a bit of psychology and telling her how important it is that the RSPB garden birdwatch gets done today with grandad in the warm conservatory (sun warm that is!).
Hopefully it will keep her occupied while we artisans struggle to make paper.
