  • Looking for Land

As the property bubble is now well on its way to popping I have been looking at buying some land and leaving the allotment but growing on my own plot.

But Estate Agents and Land agents think you are mad when you say you want to buy a bit of land without Planning permission for housing...

And make sure you have about £7,000 for each acre. The smaller the plot the more expensive it is. One acre field (no PP, agri-tie) went for £25,000 here recently.

It's quite common round here - usually gets sold by auction, & more and more often it's 'land with river frontage' which is being sold... Wonder why that is
Make sure you double check the flood risk on any prospective land NOG
