Default On-line Petition on 10 Downing Street Site for more Allotments.

A lady on another (less used) forum has set up this site through the 10 Downing Street OFFICIAL site to petition the Government for more allotments throughout the UK.

I signed it.
Worth a look at least me thinks.

Tell your friends, you never know it just might work.

I signed it too, but I think their site has just gone down!

I was trying to start a petition myself, re festive lighting, shop signage and rural streetlighting being turned off after midnight when they are not really needed (especially the christmas lighting down our street that lots of folks have had on continually since the beginning of December! Ok, I dont mind it, but why have it on when its daylight or when its gone midnight and there's no-one around to see it? Just a waste of energy at those times imho!

Is it for allotments in Scotland too? or just England? Nothing meant by this comment, just wondered.

I think we should scrap this one. It's too political.

Have just signed both petitions so whatever the problem was previously with the first link, it's OK now.

Thanks for the links. I've signed both.

Unconcerned - I was 5th on the list for a year then 8 plots came up at the same time. It seems to go with the rent renewal notices, I hope yours is January.
