Default Light or dark or just plain old OCD

We have a set of mugs, beige with brown pattern and matching brown with beige pattern. I always take the beige ones. At one time, the supermarket that like to have a bit of everyone elses market had naskets with blue handles and also baskets with clear handles. I just couldn't make myself lift a basket with a blue handle.

I know, I'm a weirdo and it's been raining all day.

Thought you was talking about chocolate when I read the title AP, then you just confused me altogether........

I've said before; there's nothing wrong with OCD - it's the weirdos without it ya have to worry about!

I can understand why the brown ones with the brown pattern have little appeal - you couldn't see whether you had coffee in there or not

Beige is a very boring colour don't you think? I live with someone with OCD, it's a pain.

I have three mugs that I claim as my own. One, is a bone china mug
Given to me by a student I worked with. The second with a colleague who I used to work with. The third, has my name on it, and is my work mug that comes home for a good clean at holiday time. It has also has CSI NY and Miami on it. Was an easter gift many years ago. Tis the only mug in the universe with my name on it, as all the commercially available ones branded with my name on don't spell it like parents do. Will be gutted the day any one of them
    Smash.

I have a shelf with hanging cups on it above the kettle. They are all mugs that I had been given to me and all equally lovely. Yet I always use a big old christmas mug and if anyone comes round they get either a blue or black one from the cupboard! I think we all have a little quirk that we all get into the habit of and there is nothing wrong with that.

I'm down to 2 favourite mugs - and one now has a chip. Not sure what I will do when they bite the dust - all the others are too, too small.
