| Separate We have both. Aldi have cheap figs 250g for 69p... I love figs (this is fruit not plants). Lots of good gardening offers. Their chocolate is nice. And cheap. Their offers on nails (subscribe to their email letters ) are superb. Shows B&Q up as profiteers..imo. |

| Well, I am hating Aldi. I biked 8 miles to get some of the strawberries that a Grape said were instore. They weren't ![]() I got a leaflet from Lidl too, advertising their running gear, so I toddled off to the local branch ... no running gear. No nothing really. Same thing happens with Somerfield, who NEVER have the special offers that their leaflet advertises. ** bad mood bear goes off to kitchen for cuppa tea now**

I got three of them plum trees from aldi when they were in, but with one thing leading to another they are still in the packets not been watered or anything and they are coming into leaf now. so maybe I should get them into the ground. Cheers Chris |

| I've just come back from Lidl in Halesowen, W.Mids, and they had loads of gardening things in. - clothes, tools ,compost, plant food, lawn airaters (? don't think thats how you spell it , but you know what I mean ! ), power sprays and lots more. I bought a gardening gilet ( £6.99 )to go with the padded knee trousers I got from there a couple of weeks ago, and a 2.5kg. box of tomato plant food for £2.49. I'm a bit of a newbie, so not quite sure what to do with it yet, but am sure i'll be on here asking your advice!!! margo |

They have demolised the Cunningham PH in New Addington and Lidl and Aldi are trying to get planning permission for the site but Cohen's who already have a shop there want another so are disputing the planning. There is also a Netto at Farnbrough which is not that far.
