  • Kid With a New Toy - or Just Insane??

Have today signed for my new bigger, sunnier allotment, having got my old plot totally sorted.

Have included a pic of the finished old plot and pics of the chaos I've inherited - all my friends have said I'm mad, but they just don't 'get' the joy of the challenge of taming the untameable - I'm sure some of you out there will understand totally!

You'll have fun taming the new plot mogs. It doesn't look too bad but still lots of hard graft to get it how you want it.

Whoever takes over your old plot will be off to a flying start. Hope they look after it.
It is the doom of man, that they forget.

I never had an allotment but do realise the challenge. That's what it's all about - life's challenges. Sort one - go find another one.

PS "It's not the arrival that's important it's the getting there" did I say that.

Well done on the old plot Mogs and good luck with the new one.
You'll get it all sorted out - you obviously know how to do it and are not afraid of work.
Are you keeping them both ?

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

No it's an either/or situation - leave the old one behind and take the new one... and yes Snuffer, that would be my biggest nightmare, someone took on the old plot and just let it go to rack and ruin, I'm just going to have to not look back - easier said than done though!

Hi Mogs - I'm happy to report, you are insane - just like the rest of us!!!
I'd have done the same as you - just think of all the things you can do in your new plot - and it looks like you have a few raw materials to work with too! You never know, the person who takes over your old plot may turn out to be a new buddy!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                Yup, quite mad.
But I totally get it, and would have done the same.
                Enjoy the hard work.

Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.
