and she was quite good, lots of crying when we went out of sight but she did really well, asked one of the lottie neighbours if they minded her being there and he aid no as long as he could have a cuddle with her.

Tried taking my German Shepherd but the chooks went beserk! Don't think I can put either through it again!

We all used to take our dogs with us, & keep them on leads. Used to take mine with me - was great company when I was down there alone till dark. We don't have livestock on our lotties so all was well.
Unfortunately the council reminded us that dogs weren't allowed as it was a food-growing area so no more dog company. Pah.
The dog still gets excited though when I get my lottie boots out!
Many people have eaten in my kitchen & gone on to lead normal, healthy lives.

I have had to ban mine from my potager. He loves being there with me and "helping" when I dig etc, its great fun. Sadly, he used to insist on having his rest on either my leeks or my asparagus. Asparagus plot is reasonably small, so he broke several spears and I dont know quite how many leeks he managed to trash. Now he either has to sit on the gravel path or on the other side of the fence, so he stays out and chases fly's instead.

Dexter loves going to the lottie, he's very well behaved and stays on my plot. He loves all the cuddles other people give him. He does try to help occasionally, but in the main stays off my beds.

This is Dexter sat outside my shed last year, and my avatar picture shows Dexter in my back garden - on my newly dug fennel patch!

Does anyone have photos of their dogs at their lotties?

You can't beat a walk to the lottie with your dog.

Lovely! What is your dog called and do you take her to your lottie often?
                  Dexter says "woof!"
