Cheers Snadge, you are right it does just about sum it up. There's nothing like it.

Thanks Snadge, they both really understand what it's all about don't they. I too hope that there's no changes made. The son did some lovely sculptures too didn't he and they fitted in well with the plants.

Someone on the vine was asking about the potato planters - this bloke gave us a very good demonstration! Lovely soil too.

Lets hope it carries on that way for them.

I love my lottie too and it has become a way of life for me.

Should be prescribed on the NHS nationwide - I believe it already is in some places.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

Look on internet for "green gym" thats what I went to too help with my depression.

Surely allotments are covenant land where they are not allowed to build on the land and it must be used for recreation.

They most likely wouldn't be able to afford the rent............

Just watched it with my cuppa. I used to see men like that when I had an allotment. Up there at sunrise and back home at sunset. It was their life support system and to have taken it away would have been like switching off their ventilators. Kept them very fit and active too. Gardening is probably one of the best medicines, along with laughter

Brilliant little film. I hope non of the plots are taken just to expand an electricity substation. Love the potato planter. Would need good friable soil to use one but his plot looked just right.

                        Thanks Snadger.

From the pic & it's only a guess, I can only see it working if the handles are spring loaded so they release the long arms.
