Default James: potatoes are hardy

I'm just watching Jamie Oliver, bless im. He's now an expert gardener in his new show ... he's just said "potatoes are really hardy plants really".
What he meant was, they're easy to grow, just bung them in.

But there, I don't know owt about cooking.

I'd prefer it if he stayed in the kitchen - his own kitchen.

Then I wouldn't have to see him on every friggin' TV programme, billboard, bookshop...

He actually cooks some quite nice stuff, pity he's soooooooo annoying. Saw some of this prog the other week and he kept on about "greenage" and "herbage". What's all that about?

yeah, but it must be constructive criticism. Eg. Nigella does too much fawning to camera, and she always wears the same denim jacket to cook in. Every day, can't be hygienic, let alone practical.

Did anybody else notice when Jamie was showing 'us' how to plant spuds, he said "earth them up, and instead of getting 20 to 30 spuds from this one plant, you'll get 20 to 30 kilos - easy as that"

Wow, I wonder where he buys his seed spuds from, with yields like that...

I'll definitely have some!!
He gets on my nerves occasionally, but I generally like him. He's so enthusiastic about what he does.

That word winds me up no end, "Delish". I like the guy, and he does do some nice dishes, but he can't grow stuff. And stop saying that bŁ@@*y word.
