I could do with a considerable dose of Jam and Jerusalem - now to track down my nearest group!

We keep meaning to set up our own group...have all the responsibilities sorted...just need a meeting without wine or cider to get it proper...but then I will be 40 this year,so maybe it is an age thing???

Well I'm 51 and not got there yet........it's what my MIL does and in a daft kinda way puts me off......I'm not ready yet.....anyway way too busy with lottie committee type stuff at the mo. I think I just have a preconceived idea about it which is totally wrong and no disrespect to anyone who is involved.......

Could I just say there is nothing wrong with floristry.

Mum and dad had a shop which did bouquets, as well as wedding and funeral 'flowers'

I used to get 'roped in', but it is a wonderful art. Nothing to be ashamed of.

oh no - not ashamed, really looking forward to it.

I got some teasing about it elsewhere, it was meant in good fun and taken that way

As for the calendar girl pinup thingy, my 'shoot' is out beginning of Feb - gawd knows what you'll get

I don't think the WI is an age thing. My friend and I are looking for a WI, albeit a young one. My local WI doesn't seem to do that much and so she might set up her own.
