As above. We had some "dandruff" earlier on but it's gone.It was a lovely day-sunshine.I don't mind snow till the end of March-if it happens in April it's like slap on the face to me-I associate April as a spring month, not winter one.

We've had some very large hail, and some very tiny snow. None of it has hung around, but it's perishingly cold!!
The forecast is fab for the rest of the week though, 7c overnight by Thursday, and a soil temp of about 10c!

OOOh you poor thing! We had sleet and hail here in Hertfordshire and that was bad enough! Have wrapped up seedlings in greenhouse just in case. I don't like this time of year, we just don't know where we are.

None here either, but crikey its chilly. Just walked the boy and everywhere is a big white crunchy carpet. I fear for my early seedlings, even fleeced up I think they may have runny noses this morning.

Bit chilly here this morning and may have been a slight overnight frost but it's brilliant sunshine and the meteo prevision for the next few days is glorious. Not going to market today, sorting out the back bank and putting in more seeds.

I was out tending the front part of my MQ yesterday morning, it was freezing and the wind was taking the flesh of my cheeks and the neighbours driving passed looking at me with pity - but then they often do most are not gardeners

We were due sleet and showers all day today, so I DIDN'T paint my fence ... and it's stayed dry
                            (but cold)

I had to collect No1 (and only) son + friend from Newhaven this am at 06.00 for Aussie GP (too long a story!?) - was surprised to find such a hard frost on the car. Couldn't open driver's door - had to enter from passenger side as all frozen up - and if I couldn't...I'd be occupying some kennel or outhouse by now! Copious amounts of de-icer required.......global warming.......?doh!
