    It's raining!

    here in Winchester.

    that'll cool things down a little. Don't know if is going to be much though - not enough so far to wet a fleas foot.

    the plot and the garden are bone dry at the moment.

    We had rain but only for 5 mins so its still hot and sticky here.
    Location....East Midlands.

      rained here about a half hour ago, watching my washing getting wet, now the sun has reappeared! so it should all dry again!

        It rained for about 4 drops yeaterday..honest I had just got back into the car and 4 drops on the windscreen.....hardly fill the water butt.

          Same here, rained for about 5 minutes but not an amount worth mentioning. Supposed to have thunderstorms on Thursday but I won't hold my breath!!

            We had about 4 and a half drops in the end! went down the lottie about 3pm (on hols this week) and another 4 and a half.

            Can't understand some people watering down there at that time - most will evaporate off I think

              I wish it would rain, my daughter keeps telling me it rained in the night but I dont hear it or see any evidence lol

                We had a big thunder storm at 330am this morning, with lots of rain - how do I know? Dexterdog decided he wasn't happy and growled and barked his way though the whole thing for an hour!
                It went as follows: thunder rumble, growl, lightening, bark, thunder rumble, growl, lightening, bark - you get the picture!
                At least my veggies were well watered, though I got up this morning looking like the chap from Kiss without the makeup!
