  • Isn't it amazing.....

How a bit of sunshine and the first blooms of spring can lift your mood.

The last few months have been pretty tough for a number of reasons which I won't bore you with but I'm sat here this morning with the sun shining and the forsythia in full bloom feeling more energetic and positive than I have for months.

Isn't it wonderful when the start of spring makes itself felt.

It is a lovely day. The sun is shining, the grass growing, primroses and violets out in the lane and we have our first lamb, a minature breed and you could fit the dear little soul in a pudding basin.
Everyone is looking and sounding more cheerful and you always feel more full of hope when the weather is good.

My solar lights were on full beam last night and I dare say will be again tonight because of the blazing sunshine, smashing!

It was still light at 6pm, lovely.
The sun certainly does give me energy - I cleaned out my mum's shed today, and I don't think I'll be able to move tomorrow

I so agree that sunshine makes a difference to how you feel. We've had two days of unbroken sunshine after what has seemed a long grey depressing winter, and I feel much better.

Sun was out here, work was lovely and busy. Lots of cheerful gardeners buying bits and pieces. Love it

I was out driving at work and went up and sat on the heath overlooking Norwich for my lunch...was lovely. The first few days I've felt optimistic about spring, a bit of sunshine and some flowers/buds on trees and signs of life really make me feel good Meant to be OK in this neck of the woods for another few days too, I hope so as I have some planting to do tomorrow!
