  • Isn't it amazing?

Just how much the daylight/sunshine can lift your spirits.

Never under estimate the power of sunshine.

Drive to work this morning without my jacket (only lightweight anyway), sunglasses on, and shirt sleeves rolled up.

Walked up the pathway from the carpark whistling away and then found myself singing in the canteen making my toast.

A colleague dude walked in and said something along the lines of "you're super happy today".

Well of course - look at it out there.

Ok, so it's clouded over this afternoon and we've had a spot of rain - but summers' on it's way!!!!

I am with you there! Having the windows open is such a relief after this last winter.

Couldn't agree more HW, although it hasn't been so wonderful here today. I'm convinced all of us suffer from SAD, it's just a question of degree.

School was so much happier today, with the windows open and a spring-smelling breeze wafting through the classrooms (ours opens onto the courtyard, which is lovely: the daffs are nearly open)

Cloudy now, but this morning was glorious (14C)

Just returned from a VERY wet and soggy walk with the dog, but it was still such a pleasure to be out without feeling that the wind was cutting clean through me vest!
The past couple of weeks have been totally dry and mostly sunny. It's as if the earth has tilted back toward the sun. I LOVE this time of year.
