Hi Chillie Girl and welcome to the Vine.

Of course you are not biting off more than you can chew... No one ever did anything of any worth by not biting off more than they could chew. Anyway you could always invite someone else to chew it too...

Whisky is kicking in ... time for bed.

As you can see, CG, we are all friends here.

Welcome to the vine - lots of ignorant newbies in the same place as you, and lots of clever grapes who know everything.... the trick is to distinguish the two!

Seriously, happy growing, and enjoy the vine!

Actually, to be sensible, and in the absence of anyone else sensible, I reckon the following

Tricky - greenhouse/feeding/careful with the temp
Toms
Chillies
Peppers
Sweetcorn

Tricky according to the books
Parsnips
sweede

Easy peasy
radish
salad leaves mixed
little gem
spring onion
runnerbeans

Not sure on
beetroot
carrots
cabbage

Although I am new too, and happy to sail this boat of adventure with you!

Actually Hazel, apart from chillies which I don't grow, I find everything on that list very easy to grow.

Hi chilligirl welcome to the madhouse! I reckon you should add a few spuds to your list - some nice salad ones?

Hazel - easy peasy is in the eye of the beholder! Spring onion....never got 'em to grow yet!
