    I'm going in!

    Got a horrible job to do today, we have a back brick built porch, its the old coal shed over the last five years whilst doing work on the house it has become a dumping ground for wood paint and general bits left over from decorating etc, having been looking for something the other day I discovered mice droppings!?!
    SO todays job is a good tidy up before they decide to move into the kitchen!!

    Just think how chuffed you'll be when it's sorted!

    In the mean time- keep bobbing onto the Vine so that we know that you've not been gobbled up by some monster lurking in there!

      Wear bicycle clips to stop them running up your trouser legs.

        You'll be fine, don't forget to use elastic bands round your trousers to stop the mice running up your legs

            Must be on the same wavelength Bren. I can still see my husband and his dad now climbing down steep winding stone steps into our cellar to hunt the rats, wearing bike clips on their trousers, elastic bands around their sleeves and scarves wound round their necks! I think they were far more scared than the rats were.

              I have returned and not a mouse was seen plenty of evidence but no sightings, the porch issplit in two with second half full of wood which I have kept in the hope of taking out the door and wall and fitting out with shelves etc, hoping cousin is visiting in the summer to help although his list is getting longer and longer lol!

              Socks up over the trousers just in case!!

                Watch out for the "Porch Monster"...they have a nasty habit of creeping up on you and making you put everything back
