  • I thought I could smell something!

This morning opened the front door and thought - poo-ee, they must be muck spreading on the fields. Then as I got into the car I noticed a massive bird poo on the side of the car (only out of the corner of my eye as I got in the car), then driving along I could still smell that smell, so thought maybe some youths had thrown pooh at my car (not sure I was entirely awake at this point), or that maybe I'd trodden in some on the drive.....

Saw this on the news when I got in! Knew Europe always smelled a bit funny.

Ewwwww now cow muck is one thing but Eurowhiff has to be another, I was wondering why we had flocks and flocks of birds migrating North!

I thought the farmers around about had been busy again!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

It smelt like chicken pellets to me. Did check my shoes though as fox sometimes pooos on my mat by the front door

Yeah - apparently it is a whiff blown over from our European neighbours!

Son confirmed whiff - but no problem for me at the moment - I've got a devil of a cold and NO sense of smell! Some small advantage to feeling grotty?

We had a very strong Easterly wind y'day, but no whiff at all (we're just about opposite Amsterdam I think)
