Sorry to hear you're laid up, sounds grim and you're coping with it in a brave way - for a man

. Just don't try to say to Lady W, when she's in labour, "I know how you're feeling"!

How about tackling your christmas cards? It'd mean you had more time to do what you want once you're up and about again, and you could feel all smug! It might also make you realise that the other alternatives aren't really so bad after all (see, I can make a positive thing out of anything

).

I can't quite decide which bit to blame see. Aggravated disc in the back, which is causing the muscles around my hip to tighten up, which in turn is sending pain down my leg.

I've always been of the opinion that the main reason men get married (after all they can have most other things without!

) is to get someone to buy and write their Christmas and Birthday cards for them!
