  • I think I'm going mad...

    Please help.

I've been of work for a few days due to my back/hip/leg, and having just got back from another osteopath visit I am laid on bed with an ice pack on the affected area.

I'm not really keen on taking medication, but needs must. Even with a cocktail of diazepam, diclofenac and paracetemol I still think Jeremy Kyle is painful.

I've read a couple of books. I've looked at all the leaves on the lawn. I've watched DVD's. I've read some books. I've faffed about on Bookface.

I haven't posted much (comparatively speaking) but I've enjoyed reading.

You guys are keeping me sane.

    Thank you.

OK If you haven't watched it yet, now is the time to watch the secret, get into that positive mental vibe!

God you poor fella, if you've resorted to Jeremy Kyle you must be in agony, wish I was a bit closer, would have come round to twiddle your toes ( in a professional capacity of course!)

You are really in a bad way if WE are KEEPING YOU SANE! I suspect we drive lesser mortals mad!

We'd all better post more hadn't we?

Sorry to hear you're laid up, sounds grim and you're coping with it in a brave way - for a man . Just don't try to say to Lady W, when she's in labour, "I know how you're feeling"!

How about tackling your christmas cards? It'd mean you had more time to do what you want once you're up and about again, and you could feel all smug! It might also make you realise that the other alternatives aren't really so bad after all (see, I can make a positive thing out of anything ).

                Haste ye well!

God what a brilliant idea, think of all those brownie points from LW, I'd love it if for once, just once my OH made the effort and wrote the cards.

I can't quite decide which bit to blame see. Aggravated disc in the back, which is causing the muscles around my hip to tighten up, which in turn is sending pain down my leg.

                          Now my heads hurts...

I think I may well have gone blind in one ear too.

I've always been of the opinion that the main reason men get married (after all they can have most other things without!) is to get someone to buy and write their Christmas and Birthday cards for them!
