  • I ran a 10K!!!

OK, maybe I didn't run it all

Yesterday I did the BUPA Great Manchester Run, which is a 10K (just over 6 miles). Whilst I've been training, I've never managed to run more than about 3miles in one go...

I'm not the fittest person, and I generally hate exercise, I managed to bunk off PE for almost 5 years at school!

OH and I completed the distance in 1hr, 23mins and 8 seconds
Apparantly that's quite good, and I was happy that it was under 90mins!

This morning I feel absolutely battered, like I've been beaten with sticks, and I'm relieved that I can sit down all day!

Excellent stuff, well done! Did I sponsor you?

I'm rubbish at running - too big and cumbersome. Congratulations OWG, well done again.

I don't think I could do it again actually! I'm walking around like an old lady today, and have seriously thought about bumping down the stairs at work on my bottom (but haven't done, in case you wondered!)
