    I Must Be Getting Old!

    I've been looking round for some rechargeable speakers for my MP4 player & found some little beauties. Here is the part I don't understand:
    I ordered red @ £16.............I happen to like red............
    I could have had them in black for a mere £22 or
    I could have ordered a white pair for a mind boggling £45...............

    Am I missing something or is white the in colour at the moment.

    Have you experienced anything similar cos I sure ain't.

    I actively avoid buying red because of football connotations but would have gone for the black. I think the white ones cost more as they look more like the over priced apple ones but might be wrong.

    Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

    Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

        When I bought a new camera I got one in purple - half the price of the exact same thing in cool silver or sexy black. And as it happens, purple is my favourite colour

            the white ones are the most popular so they are expensive .....the red ones are cheap because Manchester United is going down the pan...

                  I must be getting old. I sat there flicking through the music channels and said to my OH " I can't understand a word they are saying, its just noise to me"
                  I always get red things to bug my mother. She use to tell me only certain types of women wear red or back patient shoes. Yep damn right I have a pair of red patient shoes use to clean them with Mr Sheen in front of her
                  My Oh has a hi-fi system but has bought it as separates. He found it was cheaper to buy everything in silver than black. But he thought the black looked better so of course we have ended up with the more expensive set up.

                    Don't know about speakers but when I got my new car I asked the dealer what colour was popular at the moment and they said white. Of course he may have said that because I was buying a white car. Interestingly white was One of the few colours you didn't have to pay extra for.

                        White is not a colour, it's all colours.

                        I suppose technically it is black as it reflects all colours so we see it as white as we see all colours reflected back at us... And on that vein, blue ain't blue, but every other colour but blue... Ok, tooooo late for that kind of thinking, off to bed Confuzzled now

                          I thought there was no such colour as black. When you look at something "black" its blue-black, brown-black, purple-black...........etc.

                            Ah, that explains it RT, it's not really red but every other colour but red but they want me to think it's red so that I'll buy it.................

                              using the Munsell colour system Black & White are not colours,but are the extreme shades each side of neutral grey
