  • I made an auricula theatre

Well, ok, it's a forget-me-not theatre for now but after seeing the one Toby knocked up on GW lastnight, I was reminded that I'd thought about having one of my own on numerous occasions before.

A rather tatty old bookcase that a neighbour gave me a while ago, plus a bit of log roll for the roof and a couple of trial size paint pots later...

    This

    became this

    I'm quite chuffed

I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

That's really lovely It'll look fab with auriculas in it too.

I was very impressed with one that Alan Titch made a few years ago, but never got round to doing it myself...

Brilliant and you painted the inside the correct colour as well, unlike the doughnut on GW

That's fab! I hate auriculas, but could see some pelargoniums in there.

Mrs P wants one, and having seen yours Claire is very very insistent that I make her one NOW.

Hop to it young man! If a girlie like me can do it, I'm sure a chap of your talents will have one sorted in a jiffy

Thanks to everyone for such nice comments

I love auriculas. You have inspired me to see what I can find to house some from the car boot sale.
