LadyWayne just called and said "I'm down your allotment and you've got quite a few things"
Apparently I have a little courgette (finally!!) and a little yellow squash (I think it might be a courgette too, but kept quiet). Loads of runners. Apparently although we haven't been enjoying the cabbages - something has and there's "something else next to them" (Kohl Rabi).
The sweetcorn's looking good too apparently.
She finished by saying "you've done really well to say you haven't been down here" and that we can both go on Sunday and she'll help out weeding.

Oh, she did also say that the ground is really "boingy" - basically wet and soggy.
Weather's supposed to be half decent this weekend so I'm looking forward to it.
