  • I got a job!

After the horrid events of yesterday today has started quite well. I have just been offered a full time job in our local Garden Centre!

Hours are good, pay is awful but hey ho. I can learn lots, the staff are friendly and I get a discount. I went for the second interview today, first was last week, and was offered the job there and then.

I start on the Th which allows me time to go to my friends funeral for which I am glad.

Just have to try and not spend all my wages on plants !

Ya know- I'd love to work in a garden centre..I keep thinking how the ones over here could be improved upon and how I'd be an asset to them!!!

    ...maybe one day!

    Lovely news..well done you!

Only snag is that it is a short term contract at the moment, fingers crossed they will keep me on though

                    Congrats Fiona!
Knowing how difficult it is to get a job, its nice to hear of some success, esp. working in a garden Centre too.
