I get so cross when I walk through town, people walk so slow and take up the whole pavement, I try to pass and which ever way I go they go.

I recommend a pair of dr martens boots. Not to kick people with, they'll just just give an extra inch of height, and the stomping noise will have people quaking before you

Lol, we were just having a conversation about how rude old people are! I was in the pound shop getting some bits for school and this old geezer walked (hobbled) straight in front of me at the till. I make allowances for them, but the checkout girl wasn't happy. She said "this lady is next" (I looked round to see who she meant)

and he said "well you don't expect me to join the other end of this long queue do you?" I said I didn't mind so she served him. He wouldn't let it lie though, kept going on and on. Didn't apologise to me or anyone else, and then smacked the window on his way out. Auld git

I can't wait to get old just so I can be rude to people in shops, queue jumpand barge people out of the way. I see this every day when I go out.

Ha just walked into town with daughter and passed an elderly couple, he was kicking a plastic bottle along the ground, she said to him you are worse than the kids. Bet he would have been the first one to complain if it was kids.

Have to agree about the old folk. When my boys were young (and now to be fair to them) they used to hold the door open for people in the shops and hardly ever did the old people say thank you and my lads would be really shocked while they were explaining it to me.

I think it's a shame that so many people have such a low opinion of youth today when clearly the older generations have a lot to answer for.

If you let it bother you Zebedee, it will be only you that is bothered. Think of it as a wave and let the annoyance pass you by, don't try to fight the tide. Step to one side and say after you, this very much helps if you have a hat.!!

I remember when my son was about 4 and he held the door open for an older lady, he said O she didnt say Thank You Mum, she turned and glared at him and said Well you should just do it anyway, I could have kicked the old *****

When I eventually lose patience with people like this, I just stop and stand still. They then have a choice - go round me or bounce off me. At 6'3" and weighing more than I should, I tend not to move very far.

I think I would have asked "why not?" to anyone who didn't think they ought to have to join the queue at the back.
There is a story going around (probably made up, but it SHOULD be true) of someone who pushed into the queue at an airport check-in, and when the check-in person politely pointed out the queue asked "Do you know who I am?", she looked at him for a moment then picked up the microphone and announced to the whole airport "Your attention please, there is a gentleman at check-in desk ... who doesn't know who he is. Can anyone help him?" The perfect answer to that sort of thing!
