  • Hurrah! 'Tis a sunny Friday!

So the sun is shining, and us poor office wallahs have a weekend on the plot ahead!

C'mon then - what are you looking forward to this weekend?

Birds of Prey photography day tomorrow! (must charge camera battery).
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Hmmm... well a couple of hours at the allotment hopefully (that's the good bit!), followed by 5 hour drive on Saturday afternoon to see in laws for Mother's Day, then five hour drive back on Sunday. Fun, eh? I never wish time away but on this occasion I'm already looking forward to getting home again!

        Have a lovely weekend, all!

I am going to have a look at some lotties at 10am on Saturday. After that me and Mr. Paul are heading into Ipswich town centre to find a pub with some decent beer and good food!

Sun what Sun cold and grey here in not so sunny Devon lol I am hoping to get OH to help me at the lottie tomorrow but I have my doubts by the time he has bought his mum a card and another pressie, I have already got her a potato bag and some potatoes chitted and ready for her to plant. I need to visit my mum's grave tomorrow havent been for a while going to plant a small rose as well as put some flowers on.
Sunday I will be cooking for in laws !!! I asked OH if we could go out for a change, his answer, why your not my mum lol, no but I am your daughters mum and she cant pay to take me out cos she is only 12, and my sons cant afford to. Oh well there's always next year.
                Happy weekend everyone

Not sure how much it's changed in the few years since I've been, but if it's as good as it used to be,then you can't go far wrong with "Mannings".It's in the centre,on Cornhill...where the market is.
                  Where~ever you go,have fun!
Oh & good luck with the lottie!x

Working a half day today (only 45 mins to go!), then we're off to the new house to play in the new garden Woohoo!! And if I'm really good I might be able to sneak up to the lottie instead of help hang new doors.

Tomorrow...visiting the plant fair in Nottingham and then dropping the OH off at home and heading up to see my best friend and her new baby

Sunday - more onions in, more raised bed sides in, and any other lottie related stuff. Hopefully, if warm, a little sit down in the sun by the canal.

Lazy morning followed by late shift at work tomorrow. Sunday on lottie all day, it was neglected last year and I still have an awful lot of clearing up to do.

Well, I'm looking forward to doing some planting now as I've finally finished weeding all my M&D's raised beds. So I'm going to get my early Spuds in the ground for a start. I may slap a saddle on the Neddy and have a plod round on him for a change - the look on his face will be priceless! Then, tomorrow afternoon I'm off to collect the 'Posh Birds' for my M&D. Pictures to follow.

Ooh, ooh, is it at The Hawk Conservancy? We used to volunteer there before we left for France and OH still "does" their web site.
