  • Hot at Work

Due to the heat we were allowed a dress down day at work.....unfortunatly I have gardening cloths or a suit so I dressed down in my suit....ok I did take the tie off.

Note to self Visit Millets and buy cloths.

Is it just me or do any of you have Casual cloths.

You could have risked going skyclad NOG!

I am lucky enough to not have to work outside my home, so almost all my clothes are 'casual' - if you happen to spot someone with 'Atomic Turquoise' hair, Che t-shirt, short shorts and hi-top boots, that'll probably be me
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I have one suit(2 piece) it is 22 years old bought for my sisters first wedding in September 1987.
I have one set of smart casual clothes.
        I have 3 drawers of T shirts, 5 pairs of jeans & 5 pairs of shorts(2 cut off's)
I dress to suit my self on most occasions & the suit or smart casual only come out for funerals(too many of these) & weddings(very rare)
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I decided to dress down a bit this week. Instead of 'proper business clothes' (Im a lecturer for a training company) I wore loose linen trousers and flowery birkenstock sandals. I felt comfortable and cool but a bit self conscious until I arrived at the office to see the regional Sales Director had turned up in surf shorts and flip flops. I felt over dressed !
