Default Hope Y'all Seeing This Too

Don't want to scare on-one none...but there's this big glowing thing in the sky? Can anyone else see it? It's yeller, and round and bigger than a barn. It seems to be givin' off some kinda heat.

Ah'm scared, 'cos we ain't seen nothing like it round here for a looong time.

Gonna get me ma shades on and go take another look.

I was wondering if it's safe to go outside - our skins are so pale and wrinkly from being in the rain so much - on the plus side I think I can actually see my beans and squash growing!

Don't you need one of them special pinhole viewing boxes??
It's totally grey here~were meant to be meeting a mate at park but I've relented & agreed to meet at indoor play area instead!( really hate them!!No natural light,to many walls for the noise to bounce off& as no windows a truly "old"smell!!)
Enjoy your mystery in the sky tho!

I've seen it too but it's very shy at the moment, It keeps hiding behind those grey fluffy things in the sky.

I saw it too, Rhona. I'm just so relieved that it went away again so quickly. Who knows what these things want.

I caught a glimpse of it as it shot down south...and I have 5 loads of washing to do today [loads of linen as guests arriving tomorrow so need to make extra beds up] and now it is pouring down - I'm not a happy bunny.

Now children, you are not to be afraid, the big yellow thing in the sky is called the sun. It is your friend and will help your vegetables to grow, your washing to dry and it will keep your children playing outside and not under your feet.
What really scares me is the grey wet stuff that has just started to fall out of the sky.....
Is the sky falling in!

Well at least we know the difference between what is a garden pest, and a lunchtime snack.

Do they call them escargots because they carry their house (a heavy load), on their backs?
