  • help the presents are frozen!

I forgot to move the bulb presents indoors and now they are frozen solid and covered in layers of snow and ice. One of them is to be delivered today as a gift. The bulbs are all a few inches up and were healthy looking. I had uncovered them a couple of weeks ago from the dark.

Have I killed them? I have no chance of getting any moss to go on top as the grass is also inches deep in snow and ice.

Chances of them being ok for pressies?

I have moved them into an unheated room in the hope they will thaw out slowly.

    What sort of bulbs?
Most Spring bulbs can stand late frosts, so you should be fine

Can you put hay or straw on the top?

          They should be absolutely fine.

Ok so they have more or less defrosted. I managed to wrap one up even though it was rock hard. Will keep them indoors now methinks....
