  • Help me finish the story please

    Once upon a time there was a silly woman called Tammy who just didnt know how to judge her energy levels and so whenever she overdid it her thyroid said "STOP - enough is enough" and it would let some virus or other in to make her really ill so that she would rest.

    Now the time came for a big opportunity in her life - the Wellingborough carnival. Not only did she go with it but she took a tonic for the weeks before and after, rested as much as possible especialy the following week. The carnival was a success and the week after passed without too much ill feeling between her thyroid and herself.

    BUT S T I L L the demon thyroid decided to strike and so rendered Tammy unfit for anything but her bed for the weekend with the shivers (Oh my god I never felt so cold in 4 jumpers in all my life!) and a stonking headache. Rest and a trip to the doctors is on the cards today for our hapless heroine but can you save her spirit? - please just write the end to this sorry tale in a way that is bound to at least make her smile...although chuckle would be good (piskie? shirl? flumm?, hf?) and a belly laugh (hw, nicos) would be even better!

    Can't finish it for you but could suggest the following.

    Thyroid = green kryptonite necklace.
    Doctor = tall dark handsome young-un.
    Finedon Dandy = heroine of story with supernatural powers, only weakened by kryptonite necklace.

    How am I doing?
    I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

      Not bad - wish I could just take off the necklace and hang it up somewhere just to look at and say "oh isnt that purty but oh soooo evil"!

        Have you had the discussion with the doc about removing it, or is that not done these days?

            i had alot of that this weekend, feeling cold and rotten and sleeping for most of it - and I didn't even get to do a carnival.

            Although - saying that - some morris men morrissed their way across the front of my house on Saturday - i went outside to watch in shock horror - I haven't felt well since...

            What's the name of that tonic???

                  Yes I have used this theory to try and explain to my parents and parents in law but it still falls on deaf ears! My fav quote is "Spoon me" - sounds rude I know but it just means give me an uplift, some energy.

                      Wear 4 jumpers all the time Tammy, in the summer you'll sweat so you'll lose weight (only if you want to, don't go anorexic on us!) & in the winter you'll save on the heating bills!
                      Hope you're feeling better soon.

                          NO offense bach, but if you wear 4 jumpers in the summer, you are gonna smell pretty rank!!, very little chance of anyone getting close enough then for spooning.

                          How you feeling now tammy bach?
