  • Hello everybody - Urban farm shop

    Hello everybody

My name is trish and i have just opened an urban farm shop in the new forest, i have been advised to post on here to let people know that i am searching for local growers who wish to find an outlet for their produce, i am especially looking for english tomatos. I t is important to me that only english veg is available in teh shop so anybody near to me who wish to chat further do let me know through here.

Also i am planning to grow my own tomatoes for next year so will need advice on poly tunnels etc very soon.

    Many thanks

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
