    Goodness...how personal

Then I realised you meant the sun.

No, it wasn't that warm here! Soon though, very soon...

When we went to Paris (Feb half term) last year I caught the sun when we did the boat trip down the Seine. I also got caught at Wisley last Saturday, but it had turned by Sunday, so not that bad. I am particularly sensitive though, most of the rest of the family are redheads
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Nope - never do! Perhaps that's why my face feels a little tight . It's been lovely here today .

No, but then my back was against the sun most of the day.

OH took his top off while trying to fix a greenhouse panel that was popped out. Next thing my little boy had stripped off and was running around with no top on telling me it was lovely and warm and daddy was doing it so he would too. lol

Yup, Last year I started to worry that I was going to end up looking like a walnut (or worse still - my mother) if we stayed here - so I have been slapping on factor 12 moisturiser now for the last week.

                      Hurrah for the sun!

I'd used lotion on my face (always burn my nose when I'm fishing and it looks awful when I go back to work on a Monday!). But then pulled my sleeves up while I was fishing and have a wonderful straight line across my right arm - gardener's/fisherman's/cricketer's tan - always a good look!

Didn't get to work on my plots yesterday (shame), got volunteered to pick up a shed for the boy child's new garden. Then he needed some heavy bags for where he's cutting back his lawn to lay a decent sized patio, so called into the lottie for a supply of compost bags.

Then he rang and asked if he could borrow the small wheelbarrow. Another trip to the lottie.

Cleaned out the pond and tidied up round that.

He came over for the barrow about 7pm just as we were about to have dinner. So I gave him my car keys and told him to help hiself.

A neighbour knocked at 10:30 to say the tailgate was up on my car. Went out, and sure enough it was open, doors unlocked and the glove box had been rifled.

                            Great being a Dad.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

No in the sense you mean, but yes in the other sense.

Wasn't it lovely, though? I practically boinged around for the entire day! I saw a friend at the garden centre and she probably thought I was on drugs, I was soooo hyper, lol!
