    Harumph!!!

    We're going on holiday at the end of this week and while we were out shopping at the weekend, my children begged and pleaded to buy their magazines "because there's only one left; they might run out; etc", you get the picture. I caved, on condition that they didn't open them until we set off. They have just got me back. Grow Your Own arrived tonight but OH says I can't have it till we set off either! A bit mean since I'm co-pilot and won't be able to read. So I asked if he had his magazine and, to his credit, although he has, he is also keeping it for the holiday. And I thought I was the patient one...!

    Don't you just hate it when you set rules for the kiddies & then realise you gotta stick to them to!!?My worst is that I still refuse point blank to buy those chocolate b.fast cereals telling them everytime they ask to buy that chocolate is not for breakfast~then once a month having to sneak my breakfast of chunks of chocolate without them noticing!!

    Enjoy your holiday & I'm sure you'll particularly enjoy the mag as you've had to wait!!(or have you peeked?!)

      The phrase, do as I say not as I do, comes to mind. OH and I have been picking up DD on her use of WHAT?, instead of pardon, unfortunately we are equally to blame.

                Its easy, you press the spacebar, but the forum doesn't recognise the spaces so puts the smilie at the end of the text.
