Had that last year, wasn't that great. Better than the champagne one they did this year though for valentine's day.

When I lived in Tallaght, a more er.... diverse suburb of Dublin, I had my house burgled by a bunch of pikeys on Paddy's Day. They nicked about 10K worth of stuff.

Best Guinness I ever had was straight from the St James' Gate brewery on the Liffey.
        Let's go diggin' dirt....

Big silver bird, come land low and slow
Cut your engines, cool your wings,
        You've taken me home...

Actually, having read through these other posts, instead of saying happy st patrick's day, perhaps it would be more appropriate if I said "an bhfuil sibh ar meisce fós?" (are you drunk yet?).

I was a very thin child. My father gave me Guinness to fatten me up.

Unfortunately it all took effect on the same day.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it...

Guinness don't travel well - the closer you get to Dublin the better it gets .
The best is the pint you get at St James after the tour of the place.

A Happy (belated ) St .Patricks Day to all of you.

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.
