Thanks guys. This thread was pointed out to me by my darling Mummy Shirlthegirl - a rather more frequent visitor than I am. I went to get a round of drinks for everyone down the local boozer and was told that I couldn't be served - an adult would have to buy the drinks. Barmaid seemed somewhat embarrassed when I handed over my Provisional license

Being as it is Sunday and he has college tomorrow - we are keeping it pretty quiet today. I am busy cooking a special Sunday dinner for him and he has a friend round (though he invited 5 peeps - food overload in our house tonight) so they are upstairs 'gaming' at the moment.

Plans are for a mega night out next Saturday and lots of sleep to recover next Sunday

Thanks for all the good wishes and compliments folks. Still not sure what triggered anyone to realise it was my 'special day' but hey, I won't complain.

This is a whole new world to me now - I was never able to get into clubs or anything because I look like I'm about 7, so for the next few weeks I'll be doing what everyone else did at 16 - finding out which bits of the town pavements are best to crawl/pass out/vomit/get stabbed on... WHOOP!
