This is me, because I clicked on the advert for 30% off Woodblocx, only finding there was no such offer. Has anyone else tried this and found the same?

Always wondered if anybody clicked on the ads

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Eek! I don't think it was meant in that way, VVG Perhaps, as myself (I don't click ads) Alison doesn't and honestly wondered that!

I can't see any woodblocx ad otherwise I'd check.. perhaps you got it just as it expired, and the ads were cached local to your pc/ISP ?

Have you noticed it with the others? As if so, I'm sure the admin chaps would like to know to give the vendors/ad suppliers a prod

Strangely, after I read this from VVG an ad for ??Gardening Naturally appeared at the top of my page - but I use Ad-blocker and haven't seen an ad for months. I reinstalled at and the ads have gone again.

They bounce at the top of the page on my set up. It said 30% off, so I thought ooh I will have a look see. Lo and behold no 30% off. Thought that wasn't allowed...

VVG, let me explain. It was 30% off the size of the page, not the price of the whatever.

Cheeky! Seriously though, it's bad form to advertise something that you are not really prepared to stand by...I am a little shocked. Not much, but a little

I just tried the urban allotments link which was advertising GYO offers against the standard web page and no difference.

I actually find the newsletter, trying to persuade me to subscribe, just a little misleading. 'FREE, 73 veg plants worth over £27'...from what I can tell, it's actually just six packets of fairly mediocre seeds?

They are plug plants, Di, not seeds.

No, I genuinely have wondered. Assumed that people must otherwise they wouldn't pay for them it but the only time I've ever clicked on an internet ad is by accident when I've had a wayward mouse. No insult at all meant

VVG as always the devil is in the detail. The ad actually reads 30% off selected designs.

I had a quick look and found one type marked down from £278.03 to £250.00 not 30% I know but I wouldn't mind betting if you look at all designs you will find one somewhere. Then they are covered.

What about the GYO offers that are the same as their normal website?
