  • Guess whats been running round my front room....

Oh yes you got it right yessssss a mouse.

I stood on the sofa after getting the fishing net! OH had the fishing net trying to catch it. The other sofa was on its side and the cat was standing on top of that sofa plating with the chandeliar!!!!!

By this time I'd shut myself in the kitchen.

I do have to say after about 15 minutes it was a joint effort OH was one end of the sofa and the cat the other and the cat caught it.

The cat flew out the kitchen door into the garden and had it in his mouth for about 15 min.

    phew thank god its gone

I found a toad on Monday night in the corner of our living room. It was very dry so I think it had been there for a while. We think the dog had brought it in the night before when my OH left the patio door open after I had gone to bed and he was in the office. I`ve told him not to do that again you never know what Storm might bring in when your not looking.

Chances are the cat brought it in in the first place, NSB. Shouldn't worry too much!

My cat regularly brings me little critters! Not usually dead ones either. I'm absolutely terrified of them. I know it's an irrational fear and they won't hurt me but ............................ Anyway, if I see one that's very still I can actually put a box over it before picking the whole thing up on the garden spade and take it out at arms length to a place of safety. If it's injured though, I can kill it with a hefty blow with a blunt object.

I dont mind mice out doors, I object to them in the house. Our cat brings frogs in quite often

We used to keep gerbils and one managed to escape one day. I went to a neighbour and asked for his help ' I'll get sue ' he said, I'm not coming over, So sue came and stood on the table holding my tiny son while my other toddler son looked on in amazement as I upended the sofa and the chairs took the telly off the cabinet and upended that and finally I caught it in an empty biscuit box and put it back in its glass tank, it must have jumped out but I never really knew how it got out the gap was very tiny, after that I put something heavy on the top of a glass table top I didnt care if the bloomin thing suffocated.
