    Guano / bat droppings

    So my friends and i were having a conversation over dinner about Guano - i felt sure that people put it into food but one of them thinks i've confused it with Gurana???

    Does anyone know anything about it?

    Oops - Guarano is an extract from a berry and is very nutritious for people - guano is bird poo / bat poo and is also very nutritious - for plants!

      I understand its used for fertiliser a lot but i thought it was also used in coffee....

          Don't try it with guano you will be ill!

            Actually its seabirds, bats and seals and according to my sources, also used in gunpowder. How on earth someone worked that out I dread to think.

              The worlds most expensive coffee is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and passed through the gut of civets, selling for £50.00 a cup in London

                You can get a pint Carling Black Label which is real ale passed through the guts of a seasoned drinker for about £3.
