  • Got the best compliment ever.........

and it had nothing to do with my body or face ha ha !(that would be rare)!!

i had offered 5 cuce plants on freecycle and this lovely man came to collect them and he looked at my toms in the greenhouse and my cucs and all my other stuff and he is amazed!!!!! yeeha!! he couldnt believe that i have only been growing stuff since Feb/March this year, he showed me how to pinch out my toms to stop them growing anymore and we chatted for an hour on gardening and get this he has donated to my kids school some small trowels, forks, some outdoor toms, leeks, onions, carrots, radish and many more, all ready to go into our raised beds!!

what a lovely fella and what a refreshing change to meet someone who not only takes, but gives!

A very happy and well proud SS

ps. my cucs have flowers on them and they are female!! I am so so so excited!

Yes, everything in my blog has been grown by seed by my own dear hands and to say i am proud is an understatement, in fact i cant believe it, in fact my chilli plant is an inspiration and i dont even like chillies ha ha ! But the old man loves them, so i have grown it for him

Thanks for the compliments, i am getting more and more excited everyday xx

                            Plants

Haha, Yes I did look at your blog. Those tomatoes looks awesome and so does the chili plant. My seedlings are about 3 inches tall, since I knocked over everyone of the damn containers I planted. Ugh!!!! What a klutz.
