    German ski jumper

    Is anyone else watching the team ski jumping at the winter olympics (if its on in the UK at the moment?)

    I know I'm in my mid 40's but I laughed out loud when I saw the German fella's name.

    I'm sure I'll grow up one day, but I hope its not just yet.

    Can't stand watching sport of any kind Bob (my OH will watch anything, and I do mean anything, sporty, it does my head in) but I'm game for a laugh. What's his name?

        Absolutely not Glutton, quite clearly Andreas is a normal name for a German ski jumper.
        If you can tell me you didnt at least have a slight smirk when you saw his family name, I doff my coveted maroon beret in your direction, as I almost fell off my settee in laughter.

                  Continuing the amusing names at the winter olympics, I have just watched a series of clips on French TV, including a bit of speed skating.
                  The Korean skater was called Ha Ri Cho (pronounced Ha Ri Ko).
                  Unfortunately Mr Ko fell, and took down 2 other skaters with him. The commentary was brilliant.

                  "Ha Ri Cho est cuit"

                            If you think that name's funny, don't visit my mum's hometown of Garmisch Partenkirchen. There's a mountain with the same name (not Andreas....).
