    G.Y.O. voucher for use at wilkos

    Went to my local wilkos yesterday with the free G.Y.O. voucher for a free wilko B.B.Q. pack.
    With the looks i got you would have thought i had presented them with bent tenner! After a minute or two "never seen one of these before mate!" 2nd person comes over for a look tries to enter voucher in to till, 10 minutes later finally completed checkout. About 10 people queing behind me now so make quick exit. I just wish staff were updated with these things, thought i was going to be asked to leave or lynched by the crowd.
    a good put down line to use !

      If its anything like where I work we are never told of changes you only find out when someone presents you with something.

            Always have problems at my local Wilkos, usually with tills not being set up correctly with discounts and offers.

            I have a voucher for a free pair of gloves from there but I'm reluctant to go and claim them, knowing the hassle I'll go through.

              I claimed my free gloves, no problem at all.

              What I do have trouble with are my newspaper coupons - the barcodes never read, and the paper they're made of looks like cheap photocopy paper. They also don't have a value printed on them. Nightmare to use, I always hold up a queue.

                  I used my local bordon store.Its not that they are bad but you feel like public enemy no 1 when there is so much hassle. i mean i have spent many a happy saturday afternoon finding things i know i need but just didnt realise it, at prices you dont feel bad about by the time you get home.

                    I used the GYO voucher for the free gloves, which are very nice by the way, in our Wilkinsons & the lady on the till did give it a funny look & say she'd never had one of those before & was a bit puzzled about what to do with it but after checking it over she said to me 'do you think I just put it in as 'coupon' & the value of £1.99?', I said yes, she did & put a line through the voucher , wrote the value on it, put it in the till & that was that. Must look for & cut out the BBQ one & see what reaction that gets!

                      Just went to collect my free BBQ. Of course, staff completely baffled. Took at least ten minutes to finish the transaction.
