    The offer is for 12 different types of vegetable seeds, just pay �1.99 postage. They also have a number of other offers including strawberry plants, cherry tomatoes and mini fruit trees. We're thinking of trying the strawberries..

      That's why I thought I'd tell people. I forgot to say they are from Thompson & Morgan. There's also the first of four articles by Monty Don in the magazine supplement. The seeds in the offer are: lettuce, tomato, onion, carrot, beetroot, parsnip, aubergine, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cress, cabbage and pepper.

      Don't forget you've got to add the �0.70 for buying the paper Still, can't be bad. Enough time still to get down to your newsagent..
